CRAFTSMANSHIP
I am devoted to the photographic art form. It is my ultimate goal to assure that the quality of that art is eclipsed only by a desire to please someone considering an investment in landscape and art photography. Since the inception of my carrier in photography, I have studied lighting and technique. This study, this lifetime endeavor, has lead to the photographic craftsmanship that allows me to reach the goal of pleasing the collector. Once the technique and creativity are combined, once the Fine Art Imagery is created, the production of the final image is commenced. I have chosen to use the finest in printing craftsmen and this helps to bring the artwork imagery to life. From the photography to the printing of the art piece to the framing offered, I have searched out the best. From the moment of inception to the hanging of the photographic artwork on the wall of your home or office, every item that leaves the cpharwell | Photos facilities has been subject to the utmost creativity followed up by the utmost in craftsmanship.
DEDICATION TO THE DETAILS OF THE
FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY IMAGE
For over 40 years, I have been studying and applying traditional practices and keeping up with cutting-edge technology, first in my studio and now, for the most part, in the great outdoors. Paying attention to the details is what allows me to produce Fine Art Imagery for display on the walls of my clients. From the planning stages of a photographic outing to the final packaging of a completed Fine Art Image, details are King. Without paying close attention to even the smallest detail, the finished artwork is not all it could be.
A COMMITMENT TO PROTECT
EDITION INTEGRITY - PROVENANCE
The legitimacy of each Limited Edition photographic image is of the utmost importance. Therefore, I designed my Imagery Legitimacy program. It was designed to ensure the security and genuineness of every cpharwell | Photos Fine Art Imagery Limited Editions and Artist Proofs and to minimize the risk copies. I will personally sign each image. A numbered hologram will be placed on the Certificate of Authenticity and a second, identically numbered hologram is applied to the back of each limited edition Fine Art Image. This combination of serialized holograms insures the legitimacy of each cpharwell | Photos Limited Edition.
THE LIMITED EDITIONS
How are images chosen to be Limited Editions? They are some of my favorites and more popular images. So, it all comes down to me whether an image is available in Limited Editions. Limited Editions are limited to 250 prints, no matter what size, not 250 of each size. They are truly a Limited Edition. A few special images will be issued in a Limited Edition of only 100. Edition numbers are displayed on each photograph along with the artist’s signature. Strict attention to details ensure that each individual edition number is assigned to only one collector. Each print has a corresponding certificate of authenticity that accompanies each photograph. Pricing varies by size and quantity sold, and they are available in varying sizes in AlumaLuxe and my best offering, the Acryli-Luxe. It is then custom framed using Hand Made Italian Framing by Roma Moulding. (If you wish to shop for a frame now, just click this link. ) The Limited Edition is framed in the RomaMoulding Tabacchino 4 inch moulding.
A maximum of 250 Limited Edition photographs, for each image, will be created. That is for all sizes combined, not 250 of each size. A truly Limited Edition.
ABOUT ARTIST PROOF'S - AP
To get to the best Limited-Edition print, I will print an Artist Proof to make sure all details have been attended to. Limited Editions are held to a maximum of 250 total pieces There is only one Artist Proof (AP) of each image. Each of these Artist Proofs are signed and numbered with A/P #1 of 1. All Artist Proofs are printed as an Acryli-Luxe image style and framed in the RomaMoulding Tabacchino 4 inch moulding. Since there is only one Artist Proof, it is signed and numbered with A/P #1 of 1. The investment of $3999 for an Artist Proof is the same for all print sizes.
ABOUT FIRST PRINTING - FP
By choosing one of my fine art photography images to be a Limited-Edition piece, it allows me to choose the total number of prints to be offered in the edition. Normally, the First Printing is held for last, but I have decided that a First Printing can be purchased at any time during the sale of the edition. It is numbered “1/250” or “1/100”, depending on the edition. The First Printings are printed as Acryli-Luxe with a sturdy DieBold backing and are ready to hang, framed in the RomaMoulding Tabacchino 4 inch moulding. Pieces can now be purchased in advance of the selection selling out. Due to the intrinsic value of a First Printing’s it also carries a higher value than the rest of the prints in the edition. It will also increase in value at a faster pace than other fine art photography images in the edition. First Printing pieces require an investment of $999 above the standard pricing for Acryli-Luxe images.
