About cpharwell | Photos Fine Art Imagery

Do you have a gallery?

Early on in my career I created my art in a studio, usually of people. When I gave that up to create Fine Art Imagery, as an artist I had to make decisions on the direction I hoped to take my work. The work itself was not the problem. I knew what I wanted to create. The decision to be made was how do I present it to the public. Having run a studio for decades, I knew that the physical space upkeep and cost of a building made life much more hectic. So, my decision was a website. Same creative artwork, just an alternate way to present it.

What can you tell me about choosing Fine Art Imagery and Interior Design?

The interior of your space will be a determining factor for the artwork that adorns that space. Your choices are many. You can fill a wall with one dominant photographic print, or you can create a gallery of smaller pieces. The space is yours, and the statement created by the artwork should also be yours. The choice is yours.  Make a bold statement or keep it more subdued. There are a variety of options of Fine Art Imagery from cpharwell | Photos. Let the Art inspire you.

Fine Art Imagery will transform the interior of your home in ways you never imagined. Let the art show your personality. Let it be a subdued addition to the space, or let it boldly proclaim that it is the focal point of the room. Use color to subtly compliment the colors in the space or make the color stand out, being the dynamic point of focus in the room. Either way, Fine Art Imagery can become a conversation piece for you and your guests.

What is a “Limited Edition”?

Some of my favorite images are available in Limited Editions of 250. A few special images will be issued in a Limited Edition of only 100. The choice of images that are designated “Limited Edition” is at the discretion of the artist (that’s me). Edition numbers are displayed on each photograph along with the artist’s signature. Each individual edition number is assigned to only one collector. A certificate of authenticity will accompany each piece of photographic art.  Pricing varies by size and quantity sold, and they are available in varying sizes in Aluma-Luxe and my best offering, the Acryli-Luxe. It is then custom framed using Roma Hand Made Italian Framing.

The investment is subject to change as the edition moves closer to being sold out.

A maximum of 250 Limited Edition photographs, for each image, will be created. That is for all sizes combined, not 250 of each size. A truly Limited Edition. Visit my Limited Edition Gallery now.

What is a “Collection”?

A collection is a group of 3 or 4 themed images printed on one surface and framed as one piece in one frame. OR, it is 3 or 4 separate themed images and all are individually framed. These are usually smaller images and are displayed as a unit. Collections include framing and are offered in Exhibition Fine Art or Alumaluxe. You can view the Collection Gallery here.

Is it signed?

Yes. Each image is digitally signed for longevity of the signature.

Do you offer a multi-image discount?

Yes. Full price is due for one or two images. If you order 3 or more images, either the same image or 3 different images, there will be a discount. If ordering 3 there will be a 10% discount on image 2 and 3. The first will be charged at full price. You can contact me for information on discounts on quantities larger than three.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

To fully experience a gallery, choose a gallery that attracts your interest. Upon arriving at the gallery you can scroll through all of the images available, or you can click on a single image. If you choose to click on the image it will take you to the full image format and open the slideshow. If you wish to proceed through the slideshow click the arrows on either side of the image to advance or move backwards. When you bring the cursor over the image, a description will appear at the bottom of the photo. There is also a link to purchase the image. This will take you to the product page and give you a drop-down menu for the sizes and image styles. Click the “Purchase for YOUR Wall” button and it will take you to the shopping cart and checkout. There are also navigation instructions on many pages.

What type of payment do you accept?

We are set up to accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay and Paypal.

When will my card be billed?

Your card will be billed immediately at checkout.

Shipping & Delivery

How long until my Fine Art Imagery arrives?

Each piece of Fine Art Imagery is custom printed by the finest craftsmen. This is a process that can’t be hurried, due to the nature of printing a fine art photograph, and therefore, it does consume some time. The normal delivery is two to three weeks. Depending on size and image style, it can take up to an extra week. If framing is involved you can expect an extra week. So, having said all that, it takes from two to six weeks for the Continental United States.

Can you ship to a PO Box?

No.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, with some restrictions. Contact us about international shipping.

What about Duties & Taxes?

We can use DHL and if the total amount of the shipment is less than $5,000 you may use DHL as your customs broker. DHL will contact you to complete a Power of Attorney form to use them as your broker. Once cleared, DHL will have Package released and delivered to destination address. International collectors are responsible for all international fees, duties, customs, taxes and charges imposed following the purchase of the artwork.

If shipment exceeds $5,000 you will need to hire a customs broker. Your local broker will provide information and requirements list to clear the shipment and complete delivery.

Is my artwork insured during transit?

cpharwell | Photos ensures full coverage for all shipments. We will replace or repair any damages that occur during transit from our location to the destination address listed on your order. We cannot insure shipments once they have been transported from the original delivery destination.

What happens if my package arrives damaged?

If your package shows signs of damage, you have the right to inspect the art before signing for it. Please do not refuse delivery. Instead ensure that the driver notes that the piece was damaged. Please keep the original packaging, including the box and foam corners. Submit at least 4-6 digital photographs of the box and any damage to the art to cpharwell@cpharwellphotos.com if possible. A request for repair or replacement will only be honored if submitted within 72 hours of delivery. Please include the 5-digit order number from your box and your name on the subject line of the email. If there is a preferred method of reaching you or a certain time of day that is more convenient for you, please note that. Please include that information in the body of the email.

I will contact you within 2 business days with further instructions. It is our full intention to handle your repair or replacement as soon as possible.

Neither cpharwell | Photos nor any affiliated carrier is responsible for damage incurred during hanging or during any secondary transportation after initial delivery. For this reason, it is strongly recommended that each piece be carefully inspected upon receipt.

Returns

What is your return policy?

Due to the custom nature of Fine Art Imagery, photographic art prints that are delivered in new condition are custom hand-made works of art and are not eligible for return. However, your satisfaction is my goal. If there are problems, please contact me so we can work out a solution.

Care & Handleing

Can I frame my Fine Art Imagery?

Yes. One of our offerings, the Framed Gallery Canvas, includes a frame. The other offerings can all be framed and I do offer framing solutios. Limited Edition investment includes framing using Roma Hand Made Italian Framing, some of the very best frame moulding in the world. The Roma moulding is also available separately for all of our offerings. (If you wish to shop for a frame now, just click this link. )

How do I hang my Fine Art Imagery?

Your cpharwell | Photos Fine Art Imagery will arrive with the proper hanging equipment already attached to the back of the frame. Picture hangers and/or wall anchors are recommended but are not included with your purchase as we are not aware of how and where you wish to mount your photograph.

What is the best way to light my cpharwell | Photos Fine Art Imagery?

This question is asked often. But first, let me clue you in on how not to light it. To protect your image and insure its longevity, never display it in direct sunlight and don’t put any display lights you choose to use to close to the surface of the photographic art. Direct sunlight will fade the image fairly rapidly. After procuring the image for your home or office, you will want the best way to show it off to its best advantage. The way you illuminate your image can draw notice to the piece of artwork being displayed. There are many choices. You can use Accents, Track or what are known as Wall Washers.

Halogen vs LED

Halogen bulbs have been in use for decades. Until technology improved the lighting industry, they were the favorite. Many Hlogens are now being replaced with LED's. Halogen bulbs run very hot and can cause burns if touched. LEDs eliminate this.

Framing

Can you deliver my Fine Art Imagery ready to hang, with a frame?

Why, yes, yes we can. In fact, I have a whole section on just that very thing. Thanks for asking. Just go to “Framing” for what you need to know, or if you are ready to shop for a frame now, just click this link.
